UTU college for engineering
Remarks :
The main advantage of college is it is situated in mountain view of dehradun with a great weather and surrounding also the fee structure of the college is affordable. The cut off in JEE exam for this college goes really low.
Course Curriculum Overview :
According to my opinion, the syllabus covers all the necessary content required for an engineering student . The college also invite faculties from other colleges to give session related to new field and subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
There are strict rules for internship, you must have four certification of internship either offline or online for the placement purpose and marks given for them too. The stipend for these internship ranges about 7-8 thousand.
Placement Experience :
The highest package for current year was around 8 lacs per annum. You must have skills and courses done in different field to get more chance’s of getting placed in the interview. After degree you can also plan for post graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee is around 78000 while the examination fee is around 4000 for one semester other than this no fee is taken for any fest conducted or for labs etc. The back examination fee is around 500.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very happening and enjoyable, we have canteen to sit and chill during the mini breaks between classes. The college also have sports ground for outdoor games such as cricket, football etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel are situated outside the college area, these hostel are bit costly ranges about 12000 a month with only mess facilities, no other facilities like wifi, laundry’s, gym are provided to the student.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
