UTU college for engineering
Remarks :
The main purpose for choosing this college was its cut-off. A pet point. This college goes very low as it’s a government college fee structure is also very affordable. Regarding the campus, there are many facilities which you may use.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose BTech in computer science and engineering, which is a demanding course in current years, keeping in mind the futuristic generation and high-end technologies. But the placement scope of this course is decreasing day by day. It is mandatory to do a post graduation after this course to master degree.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many internships which you can opt for the engineering course. The college also provide you with some internships which are AICT approved. These internships are mostly paid and will cost you around 5000 to 6000. But the major drawback of these internship part, they will not give you any stipend other than this. You can also find internship on websites like internpe or Internshala.
Placement Experience :
The college has a great network alumni with the placement companies company such as action, Tata HCL. Infosys comes for the interview purposes. The placement record is only good for the core branches, not for the side branches like mechanical, electrical or electronics
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The proper structure for the college can be seen on the official website of the college. You can also decrease your college fees if you are a resident of Uttarakhand and having a domicile of Uttarakhand.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very boring, no excitement or venture. There are very few activities or first conducted in the college once a year is conducted only for two days in which no VIP guest are invited. The college also has a centralised library of book of any course that you may required
Hostel Facilities :
There are many private hostels which are affiliated by the college. We do not have their own hostels, but these private hostels are very costly. It is mainly preferable to search for a room or PG nearby, which will be affordable.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
