The college is very nice in terms of faculty, facilities, infrastructure, education, environment, features everything. The thing I don't like about my college is the number of internships offered and there is a scope of improvement in the terms of trips also. The admission process was completely online and I had got this college through the CUET exam and document verification was also in online format. I had prepared for this exam by going through my class 12 th syllabus only.
I had selected bcom hons and the reason for selecting this course is my commerce background in my senior year. All of the faculty members are all phd holders there are assistant as well as permanent professors. Some of them have double masters and one of them is CA also. The teaching is very good, friendly approachable understandable. The term exams are semester wise means there are exams twice a year and difficulty levels varies from exam to exam. Sometimes it is difficult and sometimes it's moderate.
I had not opted for any internship or placements from the college. I had only participated in one of the field trips by the career opportunity cell. Other than that I have given assessment test and interviews for a few companies.
The placement and internship opportunities are communicated to students through a common WhatsApp group by the career opportunity cell formed in the college which is headed by professors and lead by students. Fir placement you should be in your final year of the course you had opted. The major recruiters are EY,optum, tata, Accenture, wipro and many more. Highest package offered was 600000. Around 20% of the students got placement. I am planning to do masters after completing my course.
The year fees I had paid was 20500 at first then in the subsequent years it has increased by 5%. The examination fees varies semester to semester the maximum was 1600 and lower was around 1100. There was no any other type of fee. The fees of different categories are same although there are some scholarship option like for ews category students there is a fee waiver of upto 50%. There are gandhi scholarship available too.
The annual fest of the college is known as symphony. Other than that there are society based fests. There is avani club, dance society, singing society, acting society, finance society, women society and many more. There are various sports ground and sports teams.
I had not opted for the hostel facilities as I am the resident of Delhi only. But the hostel message provides food three times a day with snacks facilities. The college mess is purely hygienic and vegetables used by them is grown in the college only.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
