Remarks :
PICT Pune is a Tier 1 college with record break placements in dream companies in IT sector. This college grants admission by two entrance examinations one is MHT-CET and the other is JEE , most of the preference is given to the CET examination. Cut-off is around 99.8 for OPEN category for Computer Engineering Dept.
Course Curriculum Overview :
PICT Pune is an Autonomous college from year 2024 ,the new curriculum is designed considering what companies need from the students. Faculties here are highly qualified in their fields, they are cooperative and ready to help students. Two exams are taken over a single semester one is the Insem examination and the other is Endsem examination which is taken at the end of the semester , difficulty level of the paper is set according to level of the PICT students.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in 2nd year I have not opted for internship, but internship in final year for 6 months is compulsory in this college. Information regarding internship is available on the official website.
Placement Experience :
There are excellent placement numbers in PICT Pune with dream companies like PhonePe, Mastercard, Adobe, Barclays visiting every year. More than 90 percent of students are placed every year , with highest package reaching till 45-60 lakh and lowest around 8-9 lakh having average of 10-11 lakh. Eligibility criteria differs from company to company based on CGPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Course fee for open or management quota is around 1 lakh to 1.25 lakh.
Campus Life :
Campus life is indeed a chilling one after the academics, an individual can enjoy book reading after the college in the college library which has interesting books technical and non technical both available online and offline. Classrooms are equipped with smartboard which promotes high quality of teaching. College has more than 60 clubs(both technical and non-technical) runned by the students itself and guided by faculties where students can make their contribution. ADDICTION is the main college fest which is conducted in the month of february.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel for first year is alloted on basis of first-come first-allotment ,it may appear expensive because one time payment is compulsory here. Hostel mess is included in the Hostel package itself. The daily food here is average and may feel dull sometimes. Area around the colllege has numerous PGs and Mess ,so you can go for them instead of the college hostel.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
