I was looking for a BCA with ethical hacking skills provided college and it was provided by 2 college 1 st Teresa's college and the other one is SH college Thevara . Then I applied for the college and I got selected in st Teresa's college. So I joined here, no I directly got offer after applying in college portal with my mark sheet. College life was so good and teaching style also but the bad aspects were for every events conducting there you need to pay even for small programs. Tovino has visited our college in my 2nd semester but they requested to pay 200 just to see him, thatwas not satisfying for every students.
The course was a 3 year course. BCA with dual specialization in cloud computing and information security management. This course covers programming subject such as c,c++, Java, data structure, SQL etc... and 1addon course which was python in 1st semester that I have taken. Then there was extra courses such as cloud which you will cover AWS and azure services. Then ethical hacking, networking, Linux course, cyber forensic. These extra courses were nice and help in gaining so many knowledge.and about the faculty in teaching style Veena ma'am was good in taking lecture classes. But her only bad point is she was some time biased towards some students. And some teacher teaching style was not good especially Linux teacher . In the 1st semester exams were difficult as there was no time to prepare for exams all the exam were tightly schedule. But 2nd semester onwards was ok
Yes I have opted for cybersecurity security internship which was 2000 rupees per person as a discount that everyone joined. It was 10 day duration internship in TechbyHeart kadavanthra. Through this internship we have installed Kali Linux and used many security tools in that os.we have done ip spoofing, password breaking and gained so many theoritical knowledge. As a project we have secretsly installed a tool in mobile phone of victim and track his day to day activities. This internship was recommended by our senior
Placement and jobs opportunity was great. We have recieved so many job opportunity from top companys. Also for job interview we have recieved placement training from a sir named Deepu sir . He was so strict and always give us task to complete. If we didn't complete it or follow his instructions he will report it to our teacher incharge . He teaches us group discussion, interview questions, preparation, stress interview and many things under his stressful training we have got 100 percent placement. Everyone got placed in company . Most of the students got placed in Wipro and Deloitte and we all are satisfied. But only issue was some of them got placed in different streams just because college requesting for 100 percentage success.
St Teresa's college is an autonomous college even though it comes under MGU university. This BCA course comes with cloud computing and information security management program so the fees is more than normal BCA course so in the first sem we need to pay around 46000 (forty thousand rupees) and in the second semester we need to pay around 54000 (fifty four thousand rupees) around 1 lakhs I paid in 1 year. The program is 3 year so we need to pay 3 lakhs in the whole semester and exam registration fees is extra 1500. No lab fees or other fees. Also there was add on course in the first semester you must pic and it has extras fees. Each varries for different course like I have chosen python which has 2000 fees. There was a scholarship for OBC students. You will get around 1000 rupees
Campus Life in st Teresa's college was good there were so many clubs and some clubs were according to talent which includes singing club, fashion club, dancing club etc ... and these talent club can only joined after selecting round. Other clubs are free to join . They will contact events in a 3 month gap in our 1st semester they have conducted a fest called TASHAN which was so good everyone should dress in a enthusiastic way . With Dj party in jublee auditorium. it was such a beautiful relaxing day and it was conducted in March end and libraries was so good the word peace can be feeled there. There were also sports activities and many competition held during youth festival season. Selected members will get chance for training from good coach for kalolsavom. St Teresa's college is well known for festivals and events held so I highly recommend this college if you are looking for an awesome enjoying campus Life.
Hostel Life was not very much good . Food quality was not very much good . There were only non veg one time in a week and always same food morning sambar and puttu sometimes the same sambar will be there for night also . This hostel was college hostel one of the sisters informed about this job but the rate was ok since the first semester was corono time the classes were online so that helped in save some money from hostel stay food cuisine includes rice, puttu, sambar, rasam, curd , beans, chicken, egg etc.. it was ok when compared to price details
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
