I chose this college mainly because of its good reputation ,placement opportunities and the courses it offers under the university. The campus environment, faculty experience ,and availability of technical resources are also important factors in my decision. I got admission through CAP so i didn't have to go through any group discussion , interviews, or written tests.
I chose this course because I've always been interested in the subject and saw strong career opportunities in the field.. Most faculties are well qualifies, holding postgraduates and doctorates degree in their subjects. Their teaching method are clear , many use presentations, live examples and practical sessions to help students understand better. Terms exam were conducted on time and aligned with the syllabus and level of exams are moderate but manageable with regular study.
I have not opted for any internships so far. However ,the college does provide internship opportunities to students through its placement cell and external collaborations. These internships are usually offered during the final pr pre final year. Some internships come with stipend while others are focused on gaining experience.
The college provides decent placement opportunities. The eligibility criteria for placement usually include a minimum percentage(typically around 60%) and no active backlogs. Some recruiters that have visited include Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini etc. offering roles in IT, sales and core fields. The highest package offered was around 12LPA while the average is 4.5 LPA per annum. About 70% students from batch got placed.
My total fees are 91500 per year, which included tuition fees ,admission fees, development fees , lab fees, and other compulsory charges. i took admission through the CAP round. For students from Maharashtra ,various government scholarships are available that significantly reduce the total fees. Many of my batchmates belonging to reserved category like SC, ST, or OBC received scholarships.
Campus life is lively and balanced, offering a mix of academics and social activities. Our college fest usually held in February, is a major event with cultural and technical competitions. The campus has well equipped classrooms, smart boards and good internet connection. The library has a wide collections of books ,journals. Sports facilities include a ground for cricket, football and indoor games. Student actively participate in extracurricular activities.
Actually, the college does not currently have an in campus hostel facility for students, but a new hostel buildings is under construction and is expected to be completed this year. Meanwhile ,there are many PGs and Private hostels available near the college that are both affordable and convenient for students.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

And not practical learning provided.
