One of the factor that made me and my family chose this college as it the only government girl's engineering college in the Uttarakhand. The things which I like about the college is their supportive faculties, safe campus . The things which I don't like is the university's copy checking process as they give marks very tightly which eventually leads to low Cgpa and demotivation for students . The admission procedure here is too simple that candidate must have completed 10+12 with PCM and then appear for the state level entrance exams like UPSEE/UKSEE/other state technical exams although JEE main is the most preferred exam because it is widely accepted and gives students a better chance of securing admission through counselling.
I chose Btech because the curriculum offers a strong foundation in core engineering subjects along with opportunities to explore emerging technologies. The curriculum provides a good balance between fundamentals and practical exposure. Regular labs , minor projects and technical assignments helps apply concepts in real life scenarios. Subjects like programming, networkss and core engineering subjects.
We pay the fees semester wise , in the 1st semester it was ?56000 in the second it was 46k something in the 2nd year i e 3rd and 4th semester it was 46300 and 48k something respectively I don't remember clearly but yes it was this and in the 5th it was ?50100 including tution fees , development fees , exam fees and so on
Our college hosts a vibrant range of events , including the annual cultural fest held in March - April and the technical fest conducted in almost every occasion or minor event both of which provide great platforms for talent and innovation. The library is well equipped with a wide collection of textbooks , reference materials and journals.Classrooms are modern , featuring Smart boards , projectors and reliable internet facilities that enhance interactive learning. Beyond academics the campus offers a variety of sports such as football , volleyball, basketball, badminton and several indoor games , along with numerous extracurricular activities like music, dance , drama and art .There are also several student run clubs and committees , including technical clubs , cultural clubs, sports club and dedicated student portals for academic updates and campus communication.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
