The teaching staff of RLAC history is highly qualified, making it one of the best faculty across all delhi university. The teachers like Prof. Prateek, Prof. Rakesh ( known for his book publication on History) and Prof Shachi, Prof. Rajiv, Prof. Narendra pandey, etc. I was selected on the basis of PMSSS and had to only provide my yearly rent agreements and police verification to college.
I choose this course because of faculty to be genuine . The faculty is highly qualified and among the best in whole delhi university. Teaching techniques and once in a semester historical tours across delhi and nearby places makes the degree practical and enjoyable.
No I have not opted for any internship in Ram lal Anand college. Being history student I had very less interest in corporate workings . I was more interested in doing Masters after completing my graduation.
RLAC Do provide internships to the students like of Bcom. And computer science but I have no idea about it being a history student. I have seen Companies coming to college and selecting the best candidate they need
11000 for 1st year, 11000 for second and 10815 for third year. I went there on PMSSS so all my fee was covered by them. I only had to pay my hostel fee . The hostel is not provided by the college but the students have to manage to live by their own.
The life across campus is awesome . We have fest every year, freshers, farewell and departmental fests which make the college life living . Library have almost every resources required with internet and heating facility. RLAC have one of the best grounds across South campus colleges with all the facilities. Every year inter college football, crickets, chess, carom and other sports competition are held. The winners are then selected for college team, and given scholarship in fee, medals
College doesn't provide the hostel facility. But the students live nearby in either Satya niketan which is quite expensive or in Munirka, vasan vihar which is moderate. Overall the crowd of student across South campus is known for their friendly and enjoyable nature .
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
