I chose Zeal College Of Engineering And Research because of its good reputation in Pune ,affordable fee structure, and decent placement opportunities for Computer Engineering students. The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, which ensures a standardized and recognized curriculum. The admission process was based on MHT-CET marks. There were no group discussions or personal interviews required. The cutoff at my time was 75-80 for General category. I prepared for MHT-CET exam through self study and watching online videos. I focus mainly on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I also gave some free mock tests available on internet.
The course curriculum for Computer Engineering is designed according to Savitribai Phule Pune University guidelines. I chose this course because of my interest in software development and technology. The curriculum is updated periodically. The faculty members are well qualified and supportive. Most of them have good academic knowledge and are helpful when students approach them with doubts. Term exams are conducted on time and difficulty is moderate.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
