No, admission process was simple and easy. Was only asked by a staff member (why do you want to take admission in this field ?) No group discussions, no interviews or written tests for admission. Good points like placement opportunities, internship availability. Faculty members are highly skilled and experienced helps students in best possible way. Infrastructure is good. Bad points No core companies, average package for mechanical branch. Poor crowd quality. Sometimes Parking parking problem. Admission process is simple the staff member help throughout the process.
Choose mechanical branch due to my personal interest. Course curriculum is build according to the university guidelines. Covering all topics in both theoretical and practical way knowledge. Qualification of faculty is PhD level and some of are Masters. Teaching method is excellent uses digital methods for teaching. PPT presentation, Notes, Tasks, Hands on training and sessions are carried out for better understanding. The exam difficulty level is Moderate to hard (depends on how does student prepare) after 5 months semester exams was held.
Placement and job opportunities excellent to good level, varying by branch. Highest package (5 lakhs/yr). Average package is (3 lakhs/yr). 80% students are getting placed every year. After degree, I'm planning for MBA and further studies.
As I had taken admission in year 2014, Via Direct admission process the fee was 60000 for first year. 65000 for second year and approx 70000 for third year. Tuition fee was 50000 to 55000, 500 admission form fee, exam form fee and development fees, lab fees and other charges were included in rest off fees. SC category had a fee around 4000 per year. Name of scholarship - Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk shishyavrutti (approx 50% of fees).
Food quality was average type. Some food had time bound, Menu consists of Poha, Idli Dosa Sambar, Medu vada, Vadapav, Veg thali, Buttermilk, Taak, Pulao, Veg biryani, Soft drinks and snacks. Not sure about registration process for hostel, but the hostel is only for girls.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
Student must pass all the Sem for the placement or college is new thats why there was no records about placement, My after the degree to be a indie game developer and build an aweosom game with the help of C++
