So i choose shri navalmal firodia law college. Because it comes in top 10 law colleges in pune, it is affiliated with SPPU, and is NAAC b+ graded. To be eligible for admission in this clg you have to give an entrance exam called MH-CET. And you need to score good percentile. Typically above 90%ile to get admission in the general quota.
The course curriculum is updated recently in the year 2023. It follows the same syllabus as the SPPU. however the syllabus is more theory oriented rather than practical interactions. I would rate the syllabus 3.5/5 for overall relevance in todays market. About the faculty,Faculty is well qualified and are friendly and will always be available to help you with doubts. And also guides students for there future
No i have not done any interships yet. But the clg does provide some interships opportunities sometimes, otherwise you'll have to search for internships on your own or through referals. The college faculty can also refer you to some of their network
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
The total amount i paid for my course per year is 41000, it includes only tuition fees and clg fees. If you want to take hostel also you'll have to pay additionally. The fees for hostel are around 60k per year
The campus life is great. The campus is situated inside Fergusson clg, which is well know for its campus and fests. The clg crowd is good, you will have good experience with everyone. Also the seniors are good. No worries about ragging and all.
No i have not opted for hostel. The hostel is a bit old. The rooms for boys hostel are old. The mess is good. It provides nutritious food, and follows good hygiene practices. The girls hostel however is new and is preferable
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
