Maitreyi college is so underrated
Remarks :
We had to give CUET UG for getting into this college, there were no group discussions or interviews but multiple counselling rounds in the Cuet portal itself which we had to cross, the cuet syllabus was also not much difficult, The college is girls only which ensure much safety of women and a really beautiful campus!
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the English hons course due my interest in Literary Studies and poetry, there are many no. of professors in the english department, which is very good, they are all really qualified, and teach effortlessly that if one pays attention things would be well clear to them, there are exams conducted per semester there are 6 semester and 3 years for my course.
Internships Opportunities :
Well i haven't opted for internship within college right now, but i have seen my friends getting it from college that too paid above 11,000-15,000 which is amazing as a student, which is suprisingly similar in other courses too.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is quite affordable as comapared to other colleges such as private ones, For my course the fee is around 12000 which includes tuition fee etc , library, student welfare and all, There are many scholarships too available for students.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is beautiful! Rhapsody our annual fest that is conducted in March is one of the biggest and THE SAFEST fests of DU since outsiders except +1s are not allowed here, along with that there are many events conducted all year, the library is also full or resources with having an e-library too, along with different sports grounds, with aroudn 30 clubs AND societies.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
