- The only aspect I appreciate about the college is its low fees.
- The location of the college, nestled between mountains, provides fresh air, which is a welcome respite from urban hustle.
Dislikes
- I dislike several aspects of the college. The infrastructure is subpar, with limited facilities and outdated equipment. The faculty's inconsistency in teaching quality is disappointing, hindering the learning experience.
- The lack of encouragement for extracurricular activities diminishes campus life. Additionally, the absence of hostel facilities and the inconvenience of commuting from a distance location further detract from the overall college experience.
Remarks :
I chose this college primarily because of its comparatively lower fees in the Mumbai Metropolitan region. Additionally, a friend was already enrolled here. The college then admitted students based on CUET exam followed by selecting the preferred college. The college then admitted students based on CUET scores. No group discussions or interviews were required
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course due to its relevance to my career goals and the reputation of the college. The course curriculum is comprehensive covering relevant topics in depth. However, the faculty's qualification vary, affecting teaching quality. Some professors are highly experienced, while others lack expertise. The teaching methods are average, with room for improvement in engaging students effectively. Term exams are generally conducted on time, but the difficulty level varied, sometimes being too challenging without adequate preparation. The fee hike policy is unclear, and the cost to study is reasonable initially, but additionally fees and expenses can accumulate over time. Overall, while the course content is good, improvements are needed in faculty qualifications, teaching methods, exam consistency, and the fee transparency.
Internships Opportunities :
Unfortunately, my college Viva Institute if Technology, doesn't offer substantial internship opportunities. Only few students were allowed to do an internship, and no student was allowed to miss lectures for internships an maintaining 75% attendance was mandatory for all the students.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities at Viva Institute of Technology are average. While campus placements are limited, students explore off-campus options. Eligibility criteria typically include a minimum overall 60% in SSC, HSC and the candidate must also not have any active backlogs. Recruiters like Accelya Solutions India Limited and Vistaar Technologies have visited, offering a modest number of positions. The highest package offered was 7LPA, with an average of 2LPA. Only 10% students secure placements.
Campus Life :
Campus life at Viva Institute of Technology lacks vitality with minimal social engagement and few clubs. The infrastructure is basic, lacking modern amenities. No hostel facilities are available. the college hosts an annual sports day and cultural fest, typically in the month of January just after mid term exams and winter vacation. The library offers limited copies of books and journals. Classroom have basic amenities, with only a few equipped with projectors. Extracurricular activities are sparse. No specific social groups or clubs run by students are notable. For accommodation, students must rely on rented rooms or PGs off-campus, with food quality varying and registration processes outside the college's purview.

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
