Remarks :
I took neet exam and then attended online counselling to get admission in this college. The cut off score of neet was near around 545 by state quota . I mainly prepared for neet and that's all. The best aspect of our college is the infrastructure we have which is considered to be the best in Himachal Pradesh, The drawback points can include Lack of faculty , strict hostel rules and the hostel mess which is not so great .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most of us including me choose this course to do something good for our society, to be a better person . Most of our faculty have passed completed their MD and have years of experience . We get exams almost 3-4 times in a year which are of moderate difficulty. We pay 60000 as tuition fee for 1st year and from next year the tuition fee becomes 50000, No apparent hike . After getting admission in college there are various scholarships in play which can be talked about from the student section of our college.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college holds externship programs for Foriegn Medical Graduate's a nd Internship programs for Indian Medical Graduate's and these last for an year if done properly . Interns also get styfund during the period of internship.
Placement Experience :
Mostly now the placements are based upon different tests that students are supposed to give after completing the course The highest salary offer is of 120000, which the student get after scoring good marks in placement exams. Most of the students who passes their internship get their placement somewhere My personal plans after the course are to prepare and join a pg course.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is great Every year we celebrate our annual fest IRIS in the month of june-july. Most of the books related to our course are available in library. Almost all the sports like badminton, table tennis , football , cricket , etc. Take place in campus with different competitions every month. Different social clubs for dance, music , literary and other events are formed and act together in the direction of their passion. Hostel rooms are good and the mess is kind of Allright.
