Course curriculum has made me choose the college , professors are real time data scientists and AI/ML engineers which helps us in better understanding the professor's perspective since everything we get taught is more practical and less theory. Admission process had an Entrance test on physics, chem, math and also had a Group discussion on how e-commerce platforms affect small business owners and then later you proceed to PI in which I got asked some questions on matrices , what field am I looking to get into , what moves you and how are you going to make a change in the society with it. I never prepared for these exams apart from the entrance exam , for entrance exam if you already gave a JEE exam you don't need to study since its same , infact it is easier and for the rest of the rounds I didn't prepare just spoke what I felt .
I chose this course because at that time in 2022 there was no college offering AI/ML course with an impressive curriculum like Atlas , curriculum has Cognitive technology, Regression model building, logical thinking and also the major plus point is everything that happens is practical during the lectures the course is 80% practical and 20% theory and in a span of 3-4 months there is a mid term after every 1.5month of a semester and also has in class quiz for each chapter we learn. Fee hikes 10% every year as we progress , but since I got a 15% scholarship from college itself it doesn't make a difference so it's all good!
Not yet , I will be opting it in the summer break. But I have an idea of what kind of internship I'm going to get , it includes using machine learning algorithms making models and using python at best to get used to the language and able to build models like fraud detection, predicting cancer on normal people using data of their day to day life.
Since I'm still in second year , I don't have a clue about placements but the college is going to provide us with internships every summer break and then the last semester of the degree will also have an internship period which is pretty impressive since we get real world experience before entering into it which makes easier to adapt to any kind of job I'll be getting placed, sometimes people tend to get PPOs even before the completion of graduation.
Illenium fest is conducted in February Library has alot of books according to our curriculum, if we need more knowledge we get it through library , if a book is not available at library , the person incharge makes it available within a week , there are glassed classrooms no privacy whatsoever but they do have comfortable chairs , projector , white board and black, red, blue markers everything in the classrooms are functional with excellent facility of Air conditioners , Our college has alot of clubs which conduct every type of event throughout the semester and they are alot of funn!! We have the luxurious hostel in mumbai , food quality is the best with a great menu including jain food , locality is decent since it's kurla alot of people travel there daily which increases traffic every evening sometimes it is impossible to even cross the road.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
