Remarks :
Yuvaraja's College of Mysore has a history of 100 years and throughout its history it has given great personalities to society. It has a good education system good faculty all the laboratory facilities are good it's located in the center of Mysore city and pretty much has all the accessibility. Students can opt NSS NSS SPORTS Cocurricular activities along with their studies Raghu Dixit gold medalist in microbiology is one of Yuvaraja's alumni.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Yuvaraja's college is under the University Of Mysore it has a good curriculum all the facilities are available for students on time and lectures are being held properly. Students receive scholarships from the state government and central government. The fee structure is pretty flexible and affordable and Yuvaraja's college gives an education worth the fee. Students also receive fee reimbursement and maintenance amounts in scholarship in time.
Internships Opportunities :
No neither I nor any of my friends opted for any internship in our college. It's sad for bright students of Yuvaraja's college to not get any internship from the college side. Though our seniors have succeeded in various fields. Even though Yuvaraja's college doesn't provide any internship it gives solid knowledge to students to succeed.
Placement Experience :
This is one of the lacking of Yuvaraja's College though it's a millennial old college it has failed to be recognized by higher dignitaries and attract companies to hire students from Yuvaraja's College.
Campus Life :
Yuvaraja's college has hostel facilities that are 100 meters apart from the campus for boys and girls it's around 0.5km the hostel is well maintained and food is good hostel fee is affordable and students get scholarships to pay for the hostel fee. The campus is well maintained the infrastructure is fabulous there is a new building being constructed for new batches. The campus has an indoor stadium, gym, auditorium, and canteen, and the life science departments are separate from physical science.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
