- Some students and teachers are really good and friendly.
- My dance society 'jalsa', i have learnt bhangra from there.
Dislikes
- Firstly, lack of fests or events in my college. As our principal is very rude and they don't want to spend any money on students enjoyment.
- Second is students union and politics in my college.
Remarks :
I am from covid batch so we didn't give any exam, but from next year admissions were through cuet exam paper. In my year of admission i took this college in 2nd cut off which was 95. My college has the biggest canteen in du but tbh it's the only thing we can be proud of. If any student is looking for this college please try some other colleges, keep this as your last preference or maybe above satyawati or 2 3 more colleges of du (if you are looking for courses bcom etc) for bsc hons stats, mathematical sciences and computer science, this college is good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had keen interest in computers, so i opted for this course. Teachers in my course are highly qualified and almost all teachers are phd holders. Some of the teachers are really good and very friendly. Term exams are not conducted as such, teachers take regular tests and clear all doubts. Tests were conducted as per recent patterns only. There is no fee hike as such even they gave us refund for taking examination fees twice.
Internships Opportunities :
There were many companies last year and roles were business development executive, hr intern, sales manager, sales executive, marketing, telecommunication, social media handling, software designer, web developer etc. and last two were with stipend above 35000 and rest were between 15 to 50k .
Placement Experience :
Placementcell is one of the top in du, there were 40+ companies last year with 70+ profiles almost 70% students showed for interview got job or internship with high stipend and packages. Highest package was around 18lakh and average was around 7-8lakh. I want to pursue mba so i haven't sit in any of placement fair or internship fair in my college.
Campus Life :
Campus life is not great. There is only 1 fest in a year and no other celebrations, 'arohana' conducted by cultural society 'hyperion'. Library is nice with all books we need. Classrooms are typical govt college types. Sports is another good thing in my college. There are various societies and clubs in my college mainly under cultural society i.e. dance, singing, music, debating, poetry etc. and some other departmental societies and entrepreneurship cell and various non profit clubs. There is no hostel in my college.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.

talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
