Its decent placement record and extracurriculars were the main reason for me to choose this college. There is NO specific test for getting admission to this college, It is based on JEE MAINS and there is no interview round.
As it was my own choice to choose the Mechanical Engineering course there is no specific reason for it. Till now the teachers are perfectly good at their jobs and there are many Ph.D. holder teachers there also. There is only one term exam before every end semester and there is no difficulty level at all if you don't study one day before the exams. The total fee for this year is 349465 exact and there is an increment of 10 percent per year approx. As this college is only for Army personnel the main scholarship is PMSS and there are so many female-centric scholarships financial assistance is also provided by the institute as per the SGPA of the student.
currently, I am working on my skills in C++ language, DSA, and CAD modelling which will help me in feature to grab some internships there are also paid internships are there which you can start from the first year (legitimate)
The college placements are good in comparison to many of the good NITs as such there are no eligibility criteria for placement. major recruiters are TATA, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, LLT, COGNIZANT, and many more which are not well known. the highest package is approx. 1.8cr per annum and the avg. package is 10lpa. approx. 90 percent are placed till their final year. After getting my degree, I want to do a startup.
There are many fest conducted by the clubs like PACE by a sports club in May, AMETHYST by the cultural board in March, INNERVE by the OSS club in February, and an event called Akriti which is an interbranch event where we got the most of the fun. As far as I know, books are present but most of them are branch-centric and the colleges also provide 24*7 wifi facility, GYM, boxing hall, squash court, kabaddi court, basketball court, volleyball court, Music band, and many more facilities. there are many events conducted approx. every 2 weeks there is one and there are sports events also. social groups on instaram- culturalboard_ait, ddqclub, magboard, aitsportsclub, ait_evclub and there are many more. the hostel is in good condition and they are frequently renovated, talking about food, it's nutritious but it is on the repeat cycle so kind of bores us, as for the first year every student must be in college so there is a hostel for everyone.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
