One of the renowned colleges in Ulhasnagar thane for science and commerce field, tuition fee is so minimum like 5000 to 6000 per semester for bachelor of commerce (B.com) course. Being a chartered accountant (CA) aspirant I decide to do plain Bcom along with CA to get a graduation degree. The college takes semester exams on time and as per the guidelines of Mumbai University. The exam is not difficult for those who have concept clarity of topics. Faculties are so educated and their reaching style is suitable for every type of student whether one is good in academics or at par.
College does not provide any placement to bachelor of commerce students but they offer many soft skill courses during B.com course which help students in interviews and to get jobs easily. After completing a degree from college most of the students are employed in decent firms and industries.
College arranges a fest every year most probably in December to reward toppers of the college and to celebrate the success of the college. Students get an opportunity to show their talent in the fest (like dancing, singing, acting, magic talent etc). The college also has a library which has many books for the students to gain their knowledge and add value to it. The college also arranges sports every year and also has ground in front of the college building.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
