- The infrastructure is not big but include all necessary things like computer labs and library etc faculty memebers are well educated and campus life is enjoyable.
Dislikes
- Faculty members are best as they teach very nicely and clear our all doubts.
Remarks :
Yet Sambalpur University is a government college and has a low fee so I decided to be admitted to this college. I took the jee exam and sat in the jeep counseling and I got into this college. The cut-off for getting admission is 65percentile
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have a drastic interest in electrical and electronics so I opt this branch. Faculties are well educated as they have done their masters and Ph.D. in their subject. The teaching method is nice. Every 2 months there are exams and after 5 months there is a semester. The difficulty level is moderate u can pass the exam by just doing the previous year's question. The cost of tuition fees is 450000 and it doesn't change. We can apply for post-matric scholarships and will get 20000 per year also college will help you in getting a loan if needed
Internships Opportunities :
Nit Rourkela has given the chance to students for students and paid 10000 stipends and done project with the student of Nit Rourkela we have made the app for vehicle control. And it was fun to do an internship.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria are that u have to pass every semester exam and get 60 percent in 10 and 12th grades. Recruiters who came to our college tata Power, Adani, Tata Steel, etc, made 250 offers, and 92 percent of students placed in 2023. The highest package is 20 lakh per annum and the average is 5.2 lakh per annum. The profile offered is assistant manager, salesperson, and software developer. I plan to grab placement
Campus Life :
Life is good on campus. Fest is avahi and it is organized in the month of March. There are 2 big libraries on our campus with riched books. Classrooms have AC and smartboards. Every sport is played in our college both outdoor games and indoor games. There are many clubs for different activities like innovation club, literary club, tech club, etc The rooms of the hostel are good but the food quality is not very good u have to adjust it and it is affordable

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
