- Social life in the campus , every time some event will be happening. You just cannot waste your time as there are 100 + clubs conducting events every day . The campus is filled with activities
- Infrastructure, I am a gym guy and absolutely love the gym. Probably one of most beautiful gym in campus, so I don't have to waste my time going outside
Dislikes
- Faculty, faculty in Pesu is mid so don't expect to learn a lot from lectures. Self study is gonna help you
- Hostel food, hostel is straight up bad ,I stayed in hostel but could not eat the food so i had to order from outside
Remarks :
I appeared for the CET 2020 exam and secured a rank of 6780. This rank could fetch me a CS seat in the past so I decided to go for it..as PES University is one of the top-rated uni in Bangalore it's really hard to get into through CET. For general quota CS, the CET rank cut-off was 3200. well if you didn't get a seat through CET don't worry PESU has its entrance exam called PESSAT which is easier compared to KCET. But if you get in through PESSAT then the fee structure will be different for you(more expensive).
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science is something that I always wanted to pursue and had an interest in AiMl. When it comes to faculty, I would rate it mid because in every sem you will get a lecturer who just doesn't want to teach you anything, well for those subjects YouTube will be your best friend, and about curriculum, probably the best. Every semester the curriculum is updated according to the industry standards so that the students, once they are out of the university, will be able to tackle real-world problems. Yeah I would like to comment on the teaching method and exam too, In PES it is really hard to get an 8.5 + CGPA because of the High examination level, the questions are really hard so that in students will be ready for the placement exams. In PES we never had separate labs like other colleges, Labs were included in everyday classes at the end of each period we had a 20-minute lab session. So we had to implement what we learned in the class and don't forget to carry ur laptop every day
Internships Opportunities :
Yea I have interned at a company called Proeves. It is a sales company I chose a sales company for my internship because I wanted to improve my communication skills and my ability to sell stuff, as I was already good at coding didn't go for a coding internship
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement mentioned to us are a 6.75 CGPA as most of the company's cut-off will be the same. so it is better if you maintain your CGPA above 7 so you have a better shot at placement. And of course, PESU has 100 per placement so you don't have to worry you will get placed with an average GPA of 7. The highest package offered was 1.4 crore by Microsoft.
Campus Life :
When we talk about social life, here is the best part, PES has 2 campuses so we have 2 fests every year. Maaya which takes place on the EC campus is a 5-day celebration of cultural events where you can showcase our cultural skills. Every day starting from the first day will be given a theme and you are supposed to dress accordingly the same goes for Aatmatrisha, a cultural fest in RR camps. Other than than these 2 the college will take you out to different colleges to participate in fests And when it comes to sports, we have pretty much everything, football, tennis basketball, billiards you name it. The gym is probably my favourite part of the campus, one of the biggest gyms is in PES and it is completely free for students and there are a ton of clubs for you to join. I would not prefer staying in a hostel because first off it is really expensive. Right now it costs 1.5 LPA and the food is bad, sometimes even not edible. So if living in PG I better(go for stanza living it is close)

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
