We wrote an online exam called "SEED" and then they took a personal interview in which they segregated the students to which university or campus they belonged to like the Pune campus or Nagpur campus. Even 1 on 1 interviews are taken it was with a task called PRPS in which they assigns a task that we have to complete and submit in a given time
The curriculum is too old for the current generation, and the academic part is weak but the principle stays the same. most faculties are not even from the design field. And now they are going to change the design building itself.. no scholarship like the law department.. and basically, we are paying more than what we get.
As I said they didn't provide any internship opportunities from their side. If you want internships you have to go on your own which will ask for approval from the college side then you have to roam around the whole campus to get approved for internships.
Since the college was recently started there is not a single placement yet nor don't we have a placement committee in which we can ask about the details, this year 2024 will be the first to get placements I hope.
The campus life is chill not many rules, you can do whatever you want unless and until it doesn't disturb others.. they have their library in which physical books and digital both are available to use. I took a room outside instead of the hostel which is 245000 per year.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
