- The packages we get here are very high compared to the normal colleges in India and the sports and cultural clubs also conduct different events which makes us to enjoy our college life
- The campus is very large and beautiful and a very good place to walk around and also beautiful infrastructure
Dislikes
- The mess food here is not very homely and tasty.
- The exams here are a bit tough due to the high competition
Remarks :
To get a seat in iit students need to get good score in jee advanced. For that students should qualify in jee mains first. Not cracking jee advanced but getting good percentile in jee mains you can still get into good nits and iiits which are also very good colleges in India. Getting above 99% in mains is very good score and can lead you into top nits and iiits. In advanced above 120 is good score but it also depends on the toughness of the paper . Nta will conduct mains and release cut off details and results but advanced is conducted by iits itself.Getting into iit is dream of many students all over India. Indian institute of technology Bombay is top college in India.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science and engineering is most preferred course these days due to its demand during the placements. Software companies provide very good packages and the work in software does not need much physical work .Though the academics in iits are a bit tough these will give you a chance to get placements in good companies.The quality of faculty is very good. Professors here teach very nicely and explain things in detail and we also have teaching assistants who will help us in their respective courses.In a semester we have a midsem and an endsem and 2 quizzes.Campus provides scholarship to the needy students but required documents should be provided for that. There is no academic fees for reserved category candidates like sc st and pwds. But mess and hostel fees is paid by everyone.
Internships Opportunities :
No I did not opt any internship because I am a undergraduate and still in first year. Generally students get internships in the second semester of third year . But in some top branches like cse some of the students get internship opportunities in second year second semester itself. Top companies like Google,ola,jio approach for internships and placements.
Placement Experience :
Here the placements for students start in end of 4th year. Many top companies approach iit Bombay for placements . Students here get settled in big companies. Since the alumni are in big companies they approach their college for placements.The highest package in 2023 was 3.67 crore per annum . The average package here is around 25 lakhs per annum. Most of the students here get placements and the unemployment rate in iits is generally very less. Many students also opt upsc and entrepreneurship after getting the degree
Campus Life :
Mood Indigo is one of the largest college fest in asia which is conducted in iit Bombay. It is generally conducted in the mid of December. This year in 2024 it is conducted from 18th dec to 21st dec. Students from various colleges all over India come and visit it.Many celebrities are invited and concerts are held.There is vast library in the campus with different collection of books and journals.The classrooms are very large and sophisticated with good ventilation and air conditioning.Three projected screens and a large board will be there in the classes . Different sports and cultural clubs are there here and tournaments, events and competitions like inter iits will be there.12 tech teams are also there here. The college also provides a hostel room generally of 2 students in each room. They provide a bed, table and cupboard. The quality of food here is average. The hostel and mess fees is around 45000 per year.

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
