- You have to loose freedom in some certain aspects and there will be less holidays.
Remarks :
This college is Odisha 's first private college for nursing and also here faculties are highly educated. There will be enough clinical duty for about 2-4 months (6-7 hours/day).. About entrance exam, it doesn't have any personal entrance exam..You need to appear in NEET and they will select you as per your rank..
Course Curriculum Overview :
*Actually I wanted to have clinical experience first as it gives me satisfaction to serve the patients and then I will change my path to lecturer to gain higher education.. *For teaching ANM, GNM and 1st year students, you need to have qualification of b.sc nursing (4 yr) graduate and to teach 2nd year b.sc to m.sc nursing, you need to be post graduated with speciality subject such as (MHN,MSN,OBG) etc. *There will be 7 semesters including 2 internals per each semester and 8th semester will be internaship for 6 months..you need cover whole syllabus of 2-3 subjects with additional subjects cum workshop per each semester. *There will be 1.2-1.5 lakhs course fee per year and 4k-5k hostel fees per month and other additional fees(readmission, repair, form fill up etc). * If you are SC/ST, then there will prerna scholarship (50k-70k) and if you are of any caste and have 60% above mark in 12th, then you will eligible for graduation scholarship..
Internships Opportunities :
No as I am still studying, I didn't have an opportunity in doing internship but I have known that you can get internship in Apollo hospital and other associated hospitals with college of nursing Cuttack..They will provide you experience certificate and good amount stipend..
Placement Experience :
There will be several placement offers from many recruitment in different countries or places after graduation..as this college has high reputation in nursing field and experience, it is easier to get jobs in different hospitals and nursing home..In odisha, payment starts from 10000-20000 rupees and in different countries and states, it depends on their system..
Campus Life :
*There will be Annual fest and Christmas celebration in December and Freshers party in March/June/July.. * There will be enough books related to syllabus or health field and research papers and magazines related to medical field in Library.. * Classrooms are big and well ventilated and well equipped.. * There will be Annual sports in January and you can play with badminton,volleyball, cricket etc in the evening and do various exercise in the playground... *Hostel menus have variety and food quality is also good and all the rooms are clean and well maintained..

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
