First, this college is very good for Bachelors of Commerce and its related courses Second, it is near to my home which helps. me to save my time as well as money in my daily commute. Here, I got admission through the CUET exam (Common University Entrance test). In this exam, a student has to prepare well for his/her 12th standard syllabus.
Since I opted for commerce in my 12th standard, I am determined to opt for Bcom (Hons) only in my graduation. Almost, the whole faculty is pursued with the degree of doctorate, master's, etc. Every semester is about 4 to 5 months and examinations hold half yearly heavy medium difficulty level. Till now, no such notification is there for fee hikes but if there will be any, then I don't have any problem, since it is already very reasonable. No, there is no such scholarship or financial assistance known to me.
For now, I don't opt for any internship since I am in 1st year. But there is one dedicated society in our college, Encode- The internship cell for providing various internship opportunities to the students. Various ongoing internships are Socioz, pehchaan, etc.
Placements are average in my college, almost everyone don't get on campus placement but some try to get it themselves. To get in to good company at good package, students must have Cgpa more than or equal to 7. Highest package is 15 lpa and lowest package is 3 to 4 Lpa.
Kalakriti, the fest of Sbsc, which is going to happen in April this year. My college has an air-conditioned library and the availability of books and journals is always satisfying. Though particularly I don't know them personally yeh I know some sites like Du Club, Du Today, etc. run by students only. My college doesn't provide hostel facilities so don't say anything about it.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
