The college rank was the major factor i choose KJSCE, For admission we have to give state entrance exam called as MH-CET, Once you have scored good score in MH-CET you can select this college with preferred course name. The cutoff for KJSCE IT department was somewhere 135 MH-CET score.
Some of the faculties of the college are good but not all, The curriculum is good but not upto date. The major point is not just updating the curriculum but also updating the faculty knowledge but it feels they are not interested in that. They have a quarterly exams period with easy to medium difficulty. Fee for our junior is already high, They hiked it to almost double, Now most of the people are just rich people.
College has both internal as well as external internships opportunities and facilities makes sure students are joining them. In college they have credit score based on internships you are doing. In terms of college projects people can join different projects like online exam portal, Attendance portal and much more.
Since college has very good connections inside and outside country, Placements are very good in the college, In my college years the highest package was somewhere 20lpa. Average placement is somewhere 4-5 if i am not wrong. They have placement cell taking care of interview helps to helping students get better placement.
In terms of social life college is pretty good, They have very big campus and councils for each departments. We also had Student council taking care of each academic issues. The big campus makes sure people are performing well in sports, We had yearly very big sport event called as skream, And in terms of other curriculum we had cultural fest called as symphony. Symphony means fun and only fun.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
