Remarks :
NMIMS Hyderabad has the brand name of the NMIMS chain, hence better opportunities. The curriculum is designed for an all-round development. The admission process included the Nmat (cut off-210) followed by a WAT and then a personal interview. The preparation for these can be done on an individual level as well but I will suggest joining coaching as time or ims.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The subjects offered were quite good and we were to study every domain in the first year and then we had to select our major and minors among a vast number of subjects. The exams were taken two times throughout the trimester - mid-terms and end terms. They maintained a decent level of difficulty majorly the question paper revolved around real time case studies for the student to apply his theory knowledge to a case scenario. The financial aid can be looked up on the NMIMS website but Bob ( bank of Baroda) provides a student loan for NMIMS Hyderabad.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I did my internship with Tommy Hilfiger. Visual Merchandiser intern at Tommy Hilfiger with experience in overseeing promotional initiatives, managing all aspects of visual merchandising, creating merchandising mixes, store layouts, and planograms, interacting with customers, and maintaining and activating promotions. Also has experience creating signage, banners, and graphics using Canva.
Placement Experience :
There are hundred percent placements and the eligibility to sit in placements is to maintain a CGPA of 2.75 (min) / 4. The placements record for 2024 is the avg is 1100000 and the highest is 2000000. The internship was great too many career opportunities with renowned brands such as ICICI, Arcesiam, Berkedia, Tommy Hilfiger, Nestle, Tata, etc
Campus Life :
The social life is at the fullest you can join 2 clubs and 1 committee. The committees are - placement, PR, Cultural, Sports, alumni, academic The clubs are - fitness, theatric, marketing, finance, HR, operations, technology, etc. The events and stuff keep happening every month and small size events take place every Sunday The hostels are the best part, you will feel as if you have entered a luxury hotel. The food served is great the quality is there and the variety is great. Since the campus is in an outer area it's mandatory to opt for hostels.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
