Remarks :
I got a seat in the IT department during the second shift after the LEET exam (lateral entry). In the third round of counseling, this college was my only option, despite it not being particularly good. Classes are infrequent, and there aren't many sports facilities for enthusiasts like myself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I had completed a diploma in IT, so I pursued it further in BTech. While the facilities were good, classes were not held regularly. Most of the time, classes got canceled, approximately 80% of the time. Mid-semester exams occurred two months after the start of the semester, followed by internal and external viva practical exams just one month after the mid-semester exams, and then the end-term exams. This schedule didn't allow for proper completion of the syllabus; instead, the focus seemed to be solely on conducting exams on time. They often asked for practical files and assignments without adequately teaching us. In terms of fees, the college was expensive, charging almost 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees, but the conditions were not as good as expected.
Internships Opportunities :
I have completed 2 or 3 virtual internships, such as with Codsoft, which focus on areas like web development and Android development, primarily related to the IT sector. Unfortunately, there haven't been many good internship opportunities provided by the college.
Placement Experience :
The placement cells primarily serve as notification platforms, and most placement opportunities are for students across the university rather than specifically for this college. While the eligibility criteria for many placements don't require high marks, they do tend to exclude students with backlogs, which is a drawback. Overall, placement opportunities are minimal, with only around 5 to 6% of students in my batch, which spans from 2021 to 2024, receiving any offers. I'm unsure about the highest or average package any student received because of the limited placements, but it seems girls have a higher chance of getting placed, though the reason is unclear. As a result, I'm considering off-campus opportunities since the college isn't attracting many recruiters currently.
Campus Life :
No festivals have taken place so far. The only positive aspect of this college is its library, which boasts a wide array of books on various subjects. However, sports activities are limited, with students primarily engaging in their own sports without much support from the college. College societies and groups seem to be more for display purposes rather than fostering extracurricular activities, aside from occasional seminars. The college website appears to be more for show with limited functionality. Moreover, there are no hostel facilities, and the canteen resembles street vendors with subpar offerings.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
