- Overall the college is not good asit used to be. The faculty is the most unpleasant. They don't know what they are teaching as well. It's really low quality education
- There's a decent library that we go to study peacefully. The classrooms are ok as well
Dislikes
- I dislike the faculty the most. Why they are hiring students that just graduated. Not even the toppers, they are average students who are teaching us now.
- The classes are not well timed. Nothing goes according to the time table. They text us middle of the night that we have a class from 10-4. Sometimes they asks us if it's on that we go to have lunch after they finish teaching. It really puts a strain on me as I usually don't have breakfast.
Remarks :
It's a well-known college. My teachers recommended me to University. There was no interview or test for admission. This college had some well-known teachers back then. The teaching system was really good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am passionate about physics that's why I chose this course. But the teaching staff is some of the most unethical, unprofessional, and not so well knowledged. Every teacher is a guest faculty. That's why we face problems when one teacher is changed in the middle of the course. Many of them don't even have a degree. They are our 2 year seniors. They are only PG graduates. They have no experience or no knowledge
Internships Opportunities :
No there are no internships available in our college. Not even one single internship is available. They don't provide any, the students don't get to have any experience, and when we apply for internships outside they don't select us cause we don't have any experience.
Placement Experience :
I think it depends on how are your relations with the teachers. The teachers are more favorable to the students and tend to sweet-talk them and all. If your relations are good with the teachers then you can even be a teacher here and graduate only, they don't even require a degree. The salary depends on your attendance. Or else there is not a lot of placement or employment.
Campus Life :
The campus is decent, nothing good nothing bad. The hostel is unhygienic and filthy. There are sometimes rat feces and bugs in the hostel food. On rainy days the roof leaks as well. There are some functions held like annual function, sports day.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

Placement Experience :
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
