Likes
- Less crowded and the teacher student ratio is 4:1 which is good .
- Surrounded with nature ,enviroment surrounded is so good . infrastructure is also so good all sports facilities are present here like badminton ,Gym ,cricket ground ,basketball court etc.
Dislikes
- Far from market area which is bad so we have to go market only on sunday .nearest market is 34 km sambalpur .
- Strict rules and regulation made some difficulty like no travelling outside campus after 10 pm .
Remarks :
This is another sister college of silicon university ,bhubneshwar so i decided to join this college ,college fees is also less than other engineering colleges colleges present in bhubneshhwar ,also placement is good with respect to another college also. Admission is based on ojee and jee score ,spot direct admission is also available in this college no GD ,PI are taken during admission , also cut off for cse btech goes from 573561 this year . bad aspect of this college is it is far from market of sambalpur .nearest station to rech this is rengali station ,which is 12 km from college .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choice btech in cse because it is upcoming future so i choice this ,all the profeccer are well educated and having phd and mtech in their subject their teaching styles are also so good ,In every class their is projector present so online classes happened . there are total 8 semester in btech in 4 year .difficulty level is normal not so hard even before 1 month of exam you study ,you passed with good marks . the fees are normal tution fees is 120000 per year Lots of schlorship are available like odisha schlorship and jindal schlorship etc.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes ,i got internship with a startup company known as Citykeeper As a android developer ,My work is to work with the app present for their company .My college help me to do this internship .Very supportive and good company is this.
Placement Experience :
Placement are good here this year 80 percent student are placed .all student are eligible just have to clear 6 cgpa creteria and no backlock rules . TCS ,wipro ,conginant ,Tech mehindra like company come here . My plan is for mtech in cse .
Campus Life :
Lots of fests are happen here Zreyas is annual fest happen every year once in month of march ,it is 2 day fest one day technical fest and another day cultural fest happen Dj night ,Dance, sing and sports etc . Annual sports happen once in every year in month of feburary . Other events like movie night ,CCC event like heritage tour ,Roungoli and Robo war ,Drawing events are also happen. ALL books are present in library at the cost of 50 per books for a whole semester .All classes are well mannered . Lots of clubs are their like codigo (coding club) ,Robitics and literatury club and culcural club etc are present here which do events and classes every saturday. Food quality is good and daily different food make here and students decided to what they want to eat. Hostel present at 28000 per year near the college 3 student in one room non ac and ac also available.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
