It was only collage in satara district with highest numbers of subjects and specializations. Admission process is offline , you need to pre-regiser for desired course though.your 12th marks will be taken into consideration for cutoff. Once your name gets displayed in cutoff list, you can visit the collage and fill the form and fees. There are generally 3 rounds for admission but some courses seats run out in just 1 round as all students complete their admission process. All teachers help and guide you throughout admission process.
in first year all bsc students have total four subjects, and english is compulsory for everyone in first year. I had physics, math, electronics ,stats. Faculty -As electronics department faculty is well qualified. All teachers are supportive. Labs- Lab 1 has around 30 pc's all i5 Also internet available. You can access these machines in collage time. Also electronics lab had all the necessary equipments like resisters,diods like components to cro- cathod ray oscilloscope, antenna wave kit. Exams - there are two internal sem exam , one mid sem and one final semester exam. In which isc is mcq based carrys 10 marks. Mid sem and final sem exams are descriptive. Cost to study- once you filled the fees for year. Around 4000 rs. You need to pay exam fees around 850 rs. There is no any extra cost. Scholarships- you can apply to any of the Scholarships offerd by MH government. In which collage assist you to approve the form. Chh rajarshi shahu maharaj Scholarship scheme.
There were no any companies providing internship opportunities for 3rd year bsc students/graduates. Even chemistry department students didn't even got to be interviewed in a company related to their subjects.
Gpa more than 6.0 on campus placements is low and negligable. In 2022 there was a company who preffered only msc students over bsc students . Bsc students got to be interviewed on 1 company . But they wanted to students to move to nagpur. Also the job openings were for worker. And onsite work was hardcore. Only few students joined them. Also students were prohibited from leaving that job once joined on they need to pay the penalty
There are many fests are organized like ycis fair where all departments participate. Library is open to all you can take any book with you and submit it in time . All tipes of books and reference books are available. All types of sports are played and encouraged on the campus based on your interest you can join them. There are many gruops run by students. Ncc students have their own whats app group on which they gather and organize events and decipline related activities. I was not enrolled in hostel. But collage hostel is affordable and safe as compared pg nearby.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
