Remarks :
The admission to this college was fully based on merit basis of jee mains rank. For admission, you have to apply for IPU counseling for the btech course and you are allowed seats in different rounds based on your rank. There is no interview for admission. Just after securing seat, you have to reach on admission date with all required documents and pay first-year fees which are around 169000. The placement stats of this college in the past few years have been mind-blowing. So this is also one of the reasons to be admitted to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college provides 3 courses- Btech, BBA and MBA. I took admission in a btech course due to good placement aspects. Overall faculties are highly qualified in their field and they focus on giving more practical knowledge to students. Midsems start after 2 months before the start of the semester and assignments are also given regularly. End sem exams are conducted 2 months after mid-sems. The total fees of the btech course for the current batch are 619000. Scholarships can be availed on merit base, news base, and fatherless child base.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities in this college are very good, especially in the past few years. The placement cell provides full training sessions regularly for Placement assistance and big companies like Accenture, TCS, ZS, Samsung, and many more visit campus for Placement and internship opportunities.
Campus Life :
The campus area of this college is around 5 acres. It has a total of 3 buildings out of which one is a girls' hostel. The annual fest is also conducted every year in November- December. Fest name is Malhaar. They usually invite famous artists to the fest. Also, the college has a library on the 2nd floor which is fully air-conditioned. All types of books are available for reading and an issue facility is also available. Also, there are various sports teams in college that a student can join to their interest. There are many societies in college like literature, drama, music, dance, debate, tech, etc. The majority of them are run by students only.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
