- College infrastructure is nice and very hygenic place
- Faculties are cooperative and supporting
- Campus life is best and the environment gives some positive vibes
Dislikes
- Location of the college is not good as the road to colleges are very bad.
- Very long class schedule each day there are 5 classes and a lab period which lasts for 2 hours
Remarks :
At that time, Gift college was ranked 1 on Biju pattnaik university's college ranking and a lot of my seniors also suggested that college for technology related courses. There was no group discussion, interview and written tests are conducted admission was on the basis of ojee rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a dream of being an software engineer so i decided to do mca All the faculties are highly qualified like mtech, phd and very good in teaching Term exams are conducted on each month and not that much difficult as these are conducted unit wise Various scolarship programs are provided by college to different caste of students to help them financially
Internships Opportunities :
During our last semester we are permitted for internship on topics like php,java, python, Dotnet,Database management,Cyber security etc. Students are allowed for internship on both online and offline mode
Placement Experience :
There is no eligibility criteria for placement except you have no back papers Some decent companies came for placement like Tcs, infosys, wipro, mindtree, capgemini, cms etc and provides an average salary of 5-6 lpa. Each year nearly 50-60% students gets placement
Campus Life :
Every month musical nights are organsied where students got chance of performing on various activities. A lot of tech fests are also arranged where students from other colleges came to our college for participate on those events. We have had a enourmous collection of books in our library from different authors. Sports and extra-curricular activities are also organized on each thursday after lunch time Campus life is amazing, class rooms are large enough for 80 students and hostels are there for both boys and girls inside the college campus. Hostels rooms are very clean ane well maintained and can have 3 person comfortably in a room Food qualities are good but not that much tasty

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
