My senior friends suggested me to this college. MAIT comes under GGSIP University, so to join this Institute you have to attend GGSIPU Counselling, where you are given seats based on your rank in JEE Mains. So yes, it's compulsory to give JEE Mains to gain admission to this college. (Otherwise, there are other management quotas.) The college experience is very good. The overall crowd is fun and friendly. There is almost no ragging occurring on the campus. (However, I can't say about the hostellers, as I am a day scholar.) To induce fun in your college life, you can join Societies/clubs. MAIT has a wide variety of societies, based on Dance, Art, dramatics, Music, Sports, etc there are technical societies as well.
All the faculty members are very knowledgeable, but only a few exactly understand how to teach the students, therefore you'll have to look for good professors for guidance. Here are IIT graduate professors as well and they are very good at doing their job. Exams happen semester-wise. Per semester, you'll have to take Midterm exams and then at the end of each semester, you are given End semester exams to attend. The difficulty level is a bit higher than medium.
MAIT has very few attendance requirements, so you can hang out with your friends and not worry much about your attendance. The college fest is called Techsurge n Mridang, which happens usually in April. The college has a wide number of societies/clubs based on multiple art forms and technical forms. Like art, dance, music, acting, etc. The hostel mess has good quality food. (As said by my friend who is a hosteller) The campus has a Gym for Hostellers. The locality is quite messy if you're looking for a PG or a Flat/room. There is availability of goods. The nearest metro station is Rithala, which is about 6-8 km away. So it makes it quite difficult to access.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
