Likes
- One aspect I really appreciate about Graphic Era University is its modern infrastructure. The campus facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, labs, and recreational spaces, contribute to a conducive learning environment.
- The faculty members are highly qualified and supportive, providing valuable guidance and mentorship to students. The vibrant campus life with various clubs and activities fosters a sense of community and allows students to explore their interests beyond academics. Overall, the combination of excellent infrastructure, dedicated faculty, and vibrant campus life makes Graphic Era University an enriching place to pursue education.
Dislikes
- I dislike one thing, which is, BCA students are not allowed to sit in placements with B.Tech students.
- Infrastructure can be improved, like facilities within campus.
Remarks :
Placements are good, admission process was smooth, no exam was there, cut off for BCA is 60%, Counselling and group discussion was done with college counsellors, and fee structure was explained, campus is vast and beautiful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
BCA is for students who want to get into Computer science and engineering, but have a commerce or arts background, faculty is highly qualified. Exams are held on semester basis, mid and end term, difficulty is normal for exams.
Internships Opportunities :
While I haven't personally opted for an internship, Graphic Era University offers various internship opportunities for students. Some companies that frequently offer internships include tech giants like JP Morgan Chase and Co. The roles offered under these internships often include software developer. Interns may work on projects related to software development, data analysis, or business process optimization, depending on the company and project requirements. Stipends for internships vary depending on factors such as duration, location, and company policy, 8 lakhs for 3 months(JP Morgan Chase and Co.).
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities at Graphic Era University are strong, with companies like TCS, Infosys, Atlassian, HSBC, Wipro visiting for recruitment. Eligibility criteria include academic performance and skill requirements. The highest package offered is around 60 lakhs per annum, with an average package of ?3-5 lakhs per annum. Around 70% to 80% of students secure placements, and for those who don't, the university provides support for off-campus opportunities or further studies. My plan after graduation is to secure a job in an IT firm.
Campus Life :
Life on campus is vibrant and dynamic. The social life revolves around various clubs and activities catering to different interests. There are clubs for sports, arts, cultural activities, and academic pursuits, providing ample opportunities for students to engage and explore their passions. Infrastructure-wise, the campus is well-equipped with modern facilities, including state-of-the-art classrooms with touch screen boards, labs, and recreational spaces. The library houses a vast collection of books, journals, and online resources to support academic research and study needs. One of the highlights of the academic calendar is the annual fest called "Grafest," usually held in May. It showcases talents across various domains and brings the campus community together, celebrities perform at the fest, 2023(Ayushman Khurana, Neha Kakkar). .

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
