- Faculty was very helpful they, always encourage you, supports you.
- Extra curricular activities are one of plus point about my college, every festival celebrated and various hackathon, mentor session was held.
- Transport facility: college give there bus facility to students.
Dislikes
- Travel: as it switched at hamidpur delhi so it's like north side of Delhi.
- Playground: it's was not that much big all the sports are not played at same time.
Remarks :
Yes, I have given the common entrance exam named as JEE mains on the basis of rank I get allocated to this college. As it affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh indraprastha University Delhi so councelling was done under there guidence.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I have interest in computer science as in my 12th class I have studied so ya I choose this. Faculty are very well qualified. Mostly are PG, masters, PHD holders. There provide scholarship which is under the university GGSIPU.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have given interview for Balck-orange company they take 2 rounds: 1. GD(group discussion) 2. PI( personal interview) All rounds are cleared, now just wait for final list. After that joining and it is 11 month internship after that they give PPO.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria: no backlogs Visitors recruiters: Black orange Pvt. Limited, TCS,etc Package: 5LPA My plan after getting degree to get a good placement in service based company, after 2-3 years of experience I am planning to do M.TECH.
Campus Life :
Campus life was decent as it only 5 acres campus. Yes, library facilities was excellent all the books are available. A card issued and you can take any book. Classroom are big enough, they have green board, projector, etc. Sports faculty and facilities are decent, every year and sports meet was organised. Clubs: Proximus: a technical society. E-cell: an entrepreneur, business related society. no hostels. Yes, PG will available near by the college

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
