Our college is away from the city area, thus gives us a peaceful environment to study with concentration and silence. All you need to do is after getting a decent percentile in JEE, you need to enrol for counselling on GGSIPU official portal. After that you will get to choose your preferences ( the college you desire) and the process will take around 7-10 days for the complete admission process. Once you get the allotment letter, you must go to that college and verify your documents. Therefore the admission process is completed. Now the good things about HMRITM is that the teachers here are very cooperative and you are free to participate in any activity you like organised on inter college or university level. Just the one thing you won't like about our college is the infrastructure.
The college offers courses such as CSE, IT, AIML, AIDS, etc. The faculty includes well qualified professors and assistant professors which will give you a friendly teaching and help you to gain skills and knowledge in your respective course.
No I don't have opted for any internship yet, but I participated in a BIS programme and got 1500 as stipend for my work. You can also try participating in opportunities and get letter of recommendation or any kind of rewards for your work.
The main thing that everyone demands is the placement report of the college. So if I speak openly you will get the internship opportunities but if you want to get placed in a good company then you need to work hard yourself and try for a off campus placement as the college's placement cell is not very good in providing on campus placements.
The life at campus is good but not very enjoyable because of lack of fests and events. You are free to make new friends and do various activities with your batchmates and seniors. But if you want a concert type event that every year GGSIPU organises Anugoonj, and invites various public personalities which perform for the students. There are no hostels provided by the college but you can rent PGs nearby. College provides a vast collection of books which can be availed by using your library card.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
