Remarks :
Mic comes under the top 3 best media colleges in India and my career counselor suggested this college during my research of my own, I realized that this is the right college for my career and scope. The entrance was with a written test first which is MET and then followed by a personal interview round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is very well done with great faculty who is well read/qualified. Few subjects could have been an elective and should not have been made compulsory but otherwise one of the best colleges in India for media and communication. Mic gives great importance to practical knowledge with theory. There are many scholarship programs and student exchange programs too which are great.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, did an internship in an event management company called The Bigbee Experience where I handled corporate events for big companies, and doing another one with a PR company soon which I got through my college
Placement Experience :
Campus placement is great at MIC. Various companies with good packages come for placements like Social Panga, The PRActice, etc. With pre-placement talks and workshops conducted by the college too. The internships that are mandatory in the academic curriculum make it easy for us to get work too
Campus Life :
Social life in Manipal or campus is a mixture of every kind. From nature lovers to party animals, everyone can find their interests and people. The hostels in Manipal are very good but the food isn’t very great. But it’s far better than other hostels and has ordering options from other places on the campus for you to order if needed with yummy food. The annual fests for Manipal are revels which is a mit fest but is one of the best with concerts and great events lined usually in Feb to March. You will find various clubs to explore and it is sure that you will find your tribe in one or more groups/ clubs.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
