- Students here at IIT Bombay are from all over the country and even world and this makes the culture here more diverse and campus more interesting.
- The campus has all the things required for a normal student. IIT Bombay has the best sports facilities, a best academic area with the biggest library. Well managed laboratories and research centres.
Dislikes
- 1. The Chemical Engineering faculty is quite strict in grading and other things. They are unlike other department faculty and that's why IIT Bombay's Chemical is considered to be one of the most hard ones in India.
- 2. Hostels are quite old like there are new also and old ones getting renovated though but there are no air conditioners in any of the hostels. Also, rooms are quite small in some of the hostels and they are given with dual occupancy.
Remarks :
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay is among one of the best engineering colleges in India with top NIRF and world ranking. Admission here is only possible through qualifying JEE Advanced exam. You should be among the top 1000 students to get a decent branch in IIT Bombay. You can go for JEE Coaching in your city to prepare well for the exams and preparations can be started just after the 10th only to get good marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My priority was college because of its campus. And after getting that the best branch I was getting according to placement was Chemical. Faculty here are qualified from top IITs and best foreign universities such as Harvard. There are two semesters in 1 year, each with a Mid-semester and End-semester exam. There is also quizzes just before both midsem & endsem. Fees are quite good here and you also have scholarship opportunities here.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internships yet but some of my friends have. They are even doing internships in 2nd year only. It's quite easy to get an intern with IIT Bombay tag. They are getting good experience in some of the top companies and startups.
Placement Experience :
IIT Bombay has the best placement opportunities in India with almost 100% placement in-campus. There were even offers of 2.5 % 3.2 crores to a few extraordinary students. On average its quite easy to get the placement of 24 LPA with decent grades and portfolio. Yet now i haven't thought of sitting in placements. Will think about it later on.
Campus Life :
The campus life at IIT Bombay is the best among any other college. There are many events and fests throughout the year but three major of them are:- 1. MOOD INDIGO:- Asia's biggest cultural fest 2. TECH FEST:- Asia's biggest science and technology fest 3. E-summit:- Asia's biggest business conclave There is every sports facility available on the campus. and the game is left behind. Also, we have separate courts and grounds for each sport with the best infrastructure in India. There are many active clubs in IIT Bombay, you will get all cultural clubs which are always active and they have many different activities and events throughout the year. There is also one club "SAATHI" representing LGBTQ community. There are a total of `18 hostels with separate for UG & PG. Hostels are average like many of them are old so need to be renovated completely but new hostels are quite good.

After completing the course there is job in my college,as we can be a tutor,staff and guide the undergraduate students .the highest package after joining after undergraduate is 30000 per month and lowest is 19000 per month as fresher if we join.

The college does not provide campus placement, but faculty regularly share job updates and inform students about openings. They also guide and support students for applying to jobs. After diploma, I plan to complete my degree in IT and then get a job in the IT field

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate
SNDT,MA Psychology
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

Placement Experience :
The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
