Remarks :

I chose Dypmc for mbbs over Dr. Patil of Navi Mumbai reason being that the medical campus and facilities here are better quality wise, also there are all branches of medicine under one campus Mbbs being the first then dentist, physiotherapist, ayurveda, homeopathy, and ophthalmology. Ofc everyone has to give NEET to get admission, i scored 298 and got a seat in this college

Course Curriculum Overview :

MBBS course is vast ofc but to be honest, the faculties doesn't use the time wisely, coming to the end of the 1st year they just take lectures that just for attendance and stuff students just use their phones or do time pass in lectures mostly, the faculties are okay not that great, best part is dissection in the first year as this is a private college there are more cadavers ( real dead bodies) for learning purposes, in govt college there are fewer bodies, The exams in MBBS are difficult you have to score 50% to pass each exam and that's difficult too if you are not consistent anatomy subject being the hardest. Talking about the fees I think DYPMC is the most expensive college for mbbs in India now with total fees of 5 years going up to 1 crore 70 lakhs and the college doesn't provide books or uniforms or any single anything for free For eg, you have to pay 6000 for uniforms extra 4-5000 for journals and textbooks 5-10000 per year

Campus Life :

Life at the campus is normal, the college is located near any food shops or malls as such, yess local cafes and chai stalls are there but still, normal MACD or KFC or mall or theatre aren't close enough. College does have an event called Synapse for sports and other activities like dance singing etc this event is conducted in September or November Because in August and September, new admissions started. Hostels are 3 sharing and 2+2 sharing both With AC and non-AC options Fees ranging from 3-3 lakh 50K Mess fees are nearly 40-50 thousand Mess food is good compared to other colleges but ofc after a time no one eats from the mess as it is the same food every other day and that's where students need good food places regularly which are not available outside the college. Malls and food shops are nearly 25-30 mins away and ofc for hostel students it costs money like 300-400 just to travel to the mall

Placement Experience :

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
