- It is a new college, so infrastructure is very good.
- Faculties are supportive and they actually help you if you are passionate about your career.
Dislikes
- As college is in improving stage so new clubs are not that much active.
- Allocating budgets to clubs is problem but now it is getting better.
Remarks :
So IIIT Una is an Engineering College which was established in 2014 and now it has its own permanent campus. It offers courses in BTech, MTech and in PhD. In BTech here are mainly 3 courses CSE(Computer Science Engineering), IT(Information Technology) and ECE(Electronics and Communication Engineering). Now from 2024 batches we have two new courses Cyber Security in Blockchain and Forensic Science and Data Science with Business Administration. Admission Process is through JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) and counselling through JOSAA and CSAB. Students are allotted college in counselling and they have to take and lock their seat in counselling. After it they have 1 week time for course registration in college. Cutoff for CSE is 27059 and for IT is 30983 and for ECE is 37252 for General category. You can simply prepare for JEE from and coaching institute and when you are in 12th you can give exam. JEE is held twice a year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this college because it has now its permanent campus and also it is now in its growing phase so you can have many connections. Also its a national level college so you meet different people from India which increases your connections. Most of the faculties here are PhD qualified and also, they are young, so they are enthusiastic about teaching. We give two Class Test and End Semester Exams with weightage of 20%,20%,40% respectively, and 20% is for Continuous Assessment. No, once you take admission you have to pay same fees in all semesters and total cost to study here is around 14.5L. Some government scholarships are assisted which can be availed by students.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies here come for internship opportunities in 5th Semester. Also after 6th Semester if Student in getting any internship opportunities, then he can grab it and go to work NOC is provided by college. Projects for internships can be made in any field and you should have required skills to crack internships.
Placement Experience :
You should maintain 8+ GPA to be able to give interviews in all companies. Few companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, American Express, Deloitte, Qualcomm etc. visit here for campus placements. Highest package offered here was 60L by LinkedIn and average is for 15-16L. About 90% students got placed here.
Campus Life :
We have three fests namely Yalgaar (Sports Fest), Mridang (Cultural Fest) and Meraki (Tech Fest). All these fest take place in month of September to October. We have a full air-conditioned library with good Wi-Fi-connectivity. There are total of 9 to 10 clubs, and they conduct their individual events round the year. Force, EIC, Epmoc, Eunoia, Pixcel, Sargam are some of the clubs here for fun activities and they are run by students. One of the best thing about here is the Mess food, it is very good. Also, hostels have good Wi-Fi connectivity.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
