- Faculties - i like our college faculties as they are very helpful in every which way possible. They are always very supportive and they try to help us in every situation so that is something which I love about my college
- Campus life - our college have great campus life as there are always some events which is happening and it helps us to relax a bit in different situations Our college have different clubs which organise events very frequently and the events may include dancing competition, 36 hour hackathons, singing competition, painting competition etc
Dislikes
- Less sports - sports are not big thing in our college as we don't have a huge campus for sports facilities But still sport events do happen in our college in which we play various sports in nearby ground
- Attandance - maintaining attandance is very hard in our college and it is very important to maintain 75 percentage attandance otherwise we get debarred from every exam and thus it is important to go college regularly or atleast attend 75 percentage of the classes
Remarks :
This college is one of the best colleges that comes under GGSIPU UNIVERSITY and that is why I was admitted here the process was not direct We have to take the IPU CET exam and through that, we get our ranks then we have to go through counseling rounds in which we get out of college accordingly
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite upgraded and has good Subjects covered are of important subjects specially for BCA as I am a bca student Also, various subjects are there to improve our skill set and represent ourselves as a unique choice for jobs and interviews College exams are also held on a timely basis and faculties are very helpful in every way They are very understanding and they always try to help us students with our problems
Internships Opportunities :
No i have not opted for any internship as i am right now in my 4th semester snd internship opportunities are provided from 5th semester Internship profile includes software developer majorly,data scientist ets
Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are also good Placement to be honest depends on the students if he/she does the work and put the efforts which is required then they will for sure get placed in our college Talking about the internship, our college does provide internship opportunities and Summer training in which industry experts visit our college and teach us various technologies like MERN STACK,APP development, etc
Campus Life :
Campus life in JIMS is quite good there are various activities which are held by different clubs in our college very frequently There are various activities which helps students to get relaxed while having to study Clubs in our college includes dancing club, coding club, sports club etc and these all clubs are quite active

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
