Since I am a South Indian student, I thought I could get into this college through minority if I didn't achieve the given cut-off. But I was eligible for the particular course so called Bachelor of Engineering in IoT, Cybersecurity and Blockchain which included cut-off around 33 percentile for the entrance examination. So I got into this college without any minority and through CAP round.
SIES GST provided a new course during my time of admission that is the Bachelor of Engineering in IoT, Cybersecurity and Blockchain where I already had a keen interest in these courses, so I didn't lose this opportunity. The faculties were kind and helped us get through the admission phase smoothly. SIES GST also provide us loads of Internship, Scholarship opportunities. Every faculties here are really well trained and teach us very well.
Yes, I have opted for the internships provided by the college itself. One of the company I opted is Acmegrade where they provided Cybersecurity internship. The internship was done on the online platform where they trained us by uploading the video of the course each week and taking live classes. Bt the end of the internship,we need to submit a project related to the course. After approval, we will receive the certificate for the completion of the internship.
SIES GST provides placement and job opportunities too. The eligibility criteria for the placement should be 8 CGPI of the total semesters . Many companies offer us job opportunities. The placements include 3 rounds which includes the Aptitude test, Group Discussion and the Individual interviews. And yes, I am going to take part in the placement and give it a try .
SIES GST conducts a Fest called TML(Tatva Moksha Lakshya) every year on the 1st half of each year. The fest includes lots of events where many teams like singing, dancing, sports take part in it. The library in this college is well maintained. And the food quality in the canteen is good, we enjoy them.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
