The main criterion for selecting this college was the travel part as a resident of Vasai this college provided better opportunities than its competitors for its location. Speaking about admission to the college this college accepts students based on their MHT-CET & JEE scores either of along with the 12th-grade marks. the usual cutoff ranges are very much predictable for technology-allied branches being in the range of 85%ile + for general categories (CET).
The reason for choosing the data science branch pivoted around multiple factors but mostly around the curriculum. It explores a wide range of competencies ranging from core concepts of computer science like DSA, Algorithms, etc to Advanced concepts of Statistics, DAV, etc The faculty is highly experienced in their respective domains but still need to expand beyond the domain to cater to this branch Exams are timely conducted whilst also providing a fair level of challenge to all types of students. The fee-to-facility ratio is fair enough with constant development in the infrastructure it is justifiable. Hikes are not drastic & can usually be tackled with the help of scholarships provided by the Maharashtra Government. Scholarship details are shared by the college itself to support the students financially.
Being a student of CSEDS working in the industry as an intern provides great exposure. The TPO is active enough providing multiple opportunities to students for on-campus placements however it is suggested that students should also be equally active for off-campus opportunities to be prepared for dry spell during the time of recession. I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
