- Some unnecessary rules and regulation for students.
- College ERP system which is not properly work sometimes.
Remarks :
I choose shivalik because it gives you aquality of education and colege have a best on campus placement . I take my admisson on 18-may-2023.During admisson session first college give you the counselling they tell about our why you choose shivalik.giving information regarding placement , education , fees structure , exam sessions and infrastrucre of college.If you are satisfy to take admisson in the college you have to deposit regestration fees which is 10000 rupees to book your seat in shivalik after that you have pay semester fees on your induction program.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose B.tech cse because i want to become a software engineer thats why i choose shivalik for my btech cse. In shivalik college all the teachers are MTech qualified and most of them having 15 plus year experience some teachers are gold medalist of her university.College curriculum is totally based upon the UTU. There are two sessional exam in per semester and 1 end semester exam.for external exam college apply charges which is 1000 rupees.Some scholarship given by the college on the basis of jee score or class 12 percentage.
Internships Opportunities :
No i am not opted any internship because ia ma in first year in internship there is few company that are visited in college but they demandin high regestration fees.Some companies are coming for internships are IBM skilled ,Explorin internships ,KSHITIJ internships. THease compaies are not giving you any type of stipend only certification of internship.Shivalik college has to work on their internship field for students.
Placement Experience :
On campus placements are good in shivalik college.My plan is to take a on campus placement in microsoft. Eligblity criteria for the placement is that you have a minimum 7 CGPA for the placement.Some companies which are visting in the collge for ppkacement like autodest,tcs,shivani locks and etc.Currently one studet who acheive 36.5lpa from autodesk.The highest package of the college is 42LPA & minimmum package is 4LPA.College placement percentage is 93%.My plan aftyer degree is to take a on campus placement from Shivalik Collge of Engineering.
Campus Life :
Life at shivalik college is very good and very cheerfull and peoples are living in harmony. In campus having Cafeteria and stationary facilites are available also. Shivalik College organising Fresher party 2 fest per year. Fresher party is held on September 1 fest in may , 2 fest in November. some clubs are in the college like chitra club for photography,cultural for dance and music,sports club and etc College also provide NCC & NSS for students who are intrested to join.College having APJ Abdul kalam Library in library there a lot of books as per you academic session and many books are available.You will isssue any book for 15 days.Hostel facility is good and food is also good.I am a day scholar but my friends says all the facility are good those who opt hostel the fees add in their acameic fees which is 80000 per year.Nearby a college there are some pg which are also good.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
