There is a very famous method in Vishwaniketan i.e. project-based learning. Vimeet follows the PBL system. Now to gain admission, you have to appear in MHT-CET or JEE and you have to score more than 90% in CET and 70% in JEE. Admission is merit-based.
The reason I chose this is the huge demand for the AI&ML in this era. The professors in Vimeet are well qualified. All the curriculum is set and regulated by the University of Mumbai. And there is no sudden change in fees also there are scholarships for Maharashtra students of 50% off fee.
There is no such internship which is offered by the college they just provide the apply link and they will help you to clear all the rounds and they'll be in touch with the company for further updates about the internship.
There is no such eligibility for placement if you are a student of Vimeet then the TPO makes sure you get a place. Usually each month, there is some hiring drive of many companies. Some top recruiters are TCS and Infosys. Almost 60-70% of students get a place and some opt to study abroad. Also, vimeet has collaborated with 15+ international universities.
The campus life is well and good with all the amenities like a gym football or everything required. There is a 10-15-day annual fest which is organized in Feb and March named Vidisha. Also in Vimeet, there is central library with over 6k books. Also, Vineet is known for organising a national level hackathon which is organized by the students association of AI&ML. The food quality of the hostel is ok ok
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
