- Teachers are very friendly and helpful. They encourage us to participate in cultural activities along with studies and provide us with great opportunities. The college also organises a number of personality development sessions.
- Canteen food is amazing and lab equipments and latest for our best knowledge and experience.
Dislikes
- Since it is a girls college there is no interaction with boys and that shows effect on overall development of young girls and they become underconfident.
- College gates close at 6 pm and no girl living in hostel is allowed to go out or come in after 6 pm.
Remarks :
The course that i wanted to enroll in (Bsc. Microbial and Food Technology) is available only in this college in North India. The admission was through DHE (Direct Higher Education) councelling. Cut-off is 92%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course contains three main subjects (Microbiology, Food Technology and Chemistry) along with Punjabi/HCP, English and EVS for 1 year only. Teachers are well educated and interact with students solving their doubts and basic problems. Their teaching methods are also fantastic. MSTs and Final exams take place twice an year. Exam level is easy to moderate. Scholarship is available for EWS, SC, ST, OBC and Sports students.
Internships Opportunities :
It is compulsory for 1st year students and 2nd year students to do 1 month internship in the month of june and july. College provided summer internships in the campus and also provides with a letter of recommendation if the student wants to apply somewhere else.
Placement Experience :
Placement drives are organised for 3rd year students but since i am in 2nd year I don't know much about the companies that provide placement. Although college organises paid summer internships which results in overall skill development in students.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is amazing. Meraki is the annual cultural fest that takes place in the month of February. Other than that college also organises Diwali Fest, Holi Fest, Alumni Fest, Science Fest, Psychology Fest, Commerce Fest etc. Library is full of books and resource materials. Sports ground is well facilitated with all kind of equipments, basketball court, badminton net and football golves. High Definition Labs are there well equipped with tools and amenities. 3-4 canteens are there which provide good quality food. Hostel rooms are clean and mess food is healthy.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
