- Faculty is best. They take more efforts on each and every students. They are always present for every students .
- Infrastructure is good . As in every class fan and light is present.water cooler is present in every floor.
Dislikes
- Campus life as their is no events held in college.
- Infrastructure during summer as their is too hot so proper electricity and water should be provided.
Remarks :
Shivaji science college is the most famous and reputed college in Nagpur. It is among the top colleges. The admission process is based on merit list cap rounds . You have to score well in the 12th board to get admission to this college. The cut-off is high for this college. I had a group discussion with my friends about admission to this college as it has various and many departments of different subjects and I want biotechnology so that's why I chose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Bachelor of Science is not as easy as it is said to be. I choose bsc in biotechnology as its upcoming and growing field. The faculty is well-educated and well-experienced. Faculty qualifies net, set, phd. They not only give theoretical knowledge but also practical knowledge. The semester pattern is held. As its 3 years 6 semesters are held. Based on Even and odd semester centres are based. Even the semester is held by the University and the centre is given odd semester is home centre its college itself. Exams are of moderate level. Fees for BSc vary dor different subjects. Scholarship varies according to category.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement based on a bachelor of science only. Plans after completing the job are Doing masters in a subject from a big college like it colleges. Many exams can be prepared like IIT jam, upsc, mpsc etc.
Campus Life :
There is a fest happened in January for one day only. The library has a huge amount of books present. Every subject-related book is available. More than 2000 books are present in the Library. The college has a big Library where you can study calmly without disturbance. It has an e-library too. Sports and inter-college sports are held during the birth anniversary period of the late Punjabrao alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh. Extracurricular activities are held any time. Workshops, teachers' day, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti are also celebrated. Nss is a social group ruined by students. Where they held blood donation camps, plantation camps, cleanliness camps etc.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
