The admission process was really quick for me, as I scored the required marks in the Neet examination to get admission to most of the dental colleges. I chose this college because it was in Pune, my hometown. This is one of the best colleges to study in as it has all the 9 dental specialties and an experienced staff. The only thing this college lacks is good extracurricular activities.
I chose this course because I didn't get enough marks to be admitted to MBBS. But it was worth it. After coming to this college, I don't regret my decision at all, because dentistry is fascinating. The faculty here is highly qualified for their job and dedicated to students. In our college, 6-7 full-time teachers are appointed for each subject. Every 2-3 months exams are conducted. In total 3 exams are conducted in college and 1 is the final University exam. The exams are not difficult if you study enough. The college charges the same fees for 5 years, there is no fee hike.
No placements are provided in the college. one-year internship is compulsory for students after 4 years of bds. After that, you get the degree and you can start your clinic or work in any other clinic. You can also join as faculty in dental colleges.
This college lacks a social life. It is not involved in extracurriculars. It has only 2-3 mainstream sports activities and thats it. I suggest it should include more extracurriculars. A fest is conducted in February, which is not as fascinating as conducted by the other colleges. The library has abundant books which are required. Classrooms are air-conditioned. The hostel is not that good and also the food quality at the mess is poor.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
