Based on my AP EAMCET exam rank I got a seat here, Many students get admissions with self-funded seats, And another available option is our college provides an opportunity to study IV year at SWEDEN, this is another type called SWEDEN batch.
I personally interested in Chemical Engineering and I'm interested in doing experiments and something like reactions etc., by doing this course we can get jobs in many PSUs through GATE, and in many countries, there are a lot of job offers are there, so I have chosen this branch. Professors are from IITs and NITs and some of them have experience in working in Foreign countries also. Exams are conducted on time and exam results are also declared within less timespan exams are not very difficult, all the important thing is the basics of subjects. Coming to fees, I paid almost 1,30,000 rupees, and it's an affordable fee. I got almost 80% fee by JAGANANNA VIDYA DEEVENA & JAGANANNA VASATHI DEEVENA scholarships offered by AP Govt., and some of my friends got ARMY scholarships, and some got their own state scholarships.
I got two internship offers in RINL Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, And NIT Warangal, And Many students got in many Organizations and Institutions. Finally, I got job offers from the Fertizers Industry( Deccan Fine Chemicals) and the Pharma Industry( MSN Pharma). I will take the GATE exam in 2025, to get a job in PSU's otherwise seat in IIT.
FUSION is one fest that will be conducted every year in APRIL month, especially from our branch. and many fests are conducted by different branches. There is a special Department Library that has a lot of books related to Chemical Engineering and also the GATE exam also, There is also a CENTRAL LIBRARY. Coming to sports and Games, Cricket, Kabaddi, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Throwball, Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, etc. are there, and every year a sports fest is conducted. There are many clubs there, Dance, sports, singing, music, Exams, GK clubs, etc. all are student running clubs. Hostel facilities are very good, homely food, veg and non-veg. In the hostel office, we can register for admission in a hostel, and the hostel fee is also very low, INR 3K/MONTH. On campus only there are hostels also outside the campus many hostels are available with almost the same fee structure.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
